Finished

I've pretty much said goodbye to dear old Xanga since it gives me so much trouble. Every time I sign on, I get kicked off, maybe once in a month am I able to successfully get on with enough time to post an entry. So, I'm a full tiem worker at Myspace.com and for a lil' extra cash on the side I'm part-timing at Easyjournal.com ( www.easyjournal.com/notthetypical ) That's where I'll be. Goodbye my good and faithful readers, I'll miss you.

Women

Hey, I'm home for half a day, then going back to TRCC for week 3! It's been such a blessing looking after cabins full of little kids, and now we move onto the senior weeks. Please pray with me that our staff will be fully equipped to answer the difficult questions that come our way in the next two weeks! Write if you can! And read this, isn't pretty much amazing:

One Flaw In Women

By the time the Lord made woman,

He was into his sixth day of working overtime.

An angel appeared and said,

"Why are you spending so much time on this one?"

And the Lord answered, "Have you seen my spec sheet on
her?

She has to be completely washable, but not plastic,

have over 200 movable parts, all replaceable

and able to run on diet coke and leftovers,

have a lap that can hold four children at one time,

have a kiss that can cure anything from a scraped knee
to a broken heart

-and she will do everything

with only two hands."

The angel was astounded at the requirements.

"Only two hands!? No way!

And that's just on the standard model?

That's too much work for one day.

Wait until tomorrow to finish."

But I won't," the Lord protested.

"I am so close to finishing this creation that is so
close to my own heart.

She already heals herself when she is sick

AND can work 18 hour days."

The angel moved closer and touched the woman.

"But you have made her so soft, Lord."

"She is soft," the Lord agreed,

"but I have also made her tough.

You have no idea what she can endure or accomplish."

"Will she be able to think?", asked the angel.

The Lord replied,

"Not only will she be able to think,

she will be able to reason and negotiate."

The angel then noticed something,

and reaching out, touched the woman's cheek.

"Oops, it looks like you have a leak in this model.

I told you that you were trying to put too much into
this one."

"That's not a leak,"

the Lord corrected,

"that's a tear!"

"What's the tear for?" the angel asked.

The Lord said, "The tear is her way of expressing her
joy,

her sorrow, her pain, her disappointment, her love,

her loneliness, her grief and her pride."

The angel was impressed.

"You are a genius, Lord.

You thought of everything!

Woman is truly amazing."

And she is!

Women have strengths that amaze men.

They bear hardships and they carry burdens,

but they hold happiness,

love and joy.

They smile when they want to scream.

They sing when they want to cry.

They cry when they are happy

and laugh when they are nervous.

They fight for what they believe in.

They stand up to injustice.

They don't take "no" for an answer

when they believe there is a better solution.

They go without so their family can have.

They go to the doctor with a frightened friend.

They love unconditionally.

They cry when their children excel

and cheer when their friends get awards.

They are happy when they hear about

a birth or a wedding.

Their hearts break when a friend dies.

They grieve at the loss of a family member,

yet they are strong when they think there is no strength
left.

They know that a hug and a kiss

can heal a broken heart.

Women come in all shapes, sizes and colors.

They'll drive, fly, walk, run or e-mail you

to show how much they care about you.

The heart of a woman is what makes the world keep
turning.

They bring joy, hope and love.

They have compassion and ideals.

They give moral support to their family and friends.

Women have vital things to say and everything to give.

HOWEVER, IF THERE IS ONE FLAW IN WOMEN,

IT IS THAT THEY FORGET THEIR WORTH.

MY LIFE!

Much to report on. My trip to Virginia included:

Pit stop at Claws n' Paws Wild Animal Park where we saw a white alligator and a white tiger which shot pee at my brother Driving through the Promised Land
Getting murdered at fooseball by my father and everyone else
Becoming obsessed with the tv show LOST
Antique shopping with my brother
Apartment hunting & finding two places that are semi-affordable
Finding out YMCA pays low end in every department
Going to the beach & watching Tokyo jam it
Reading Scott Pilgrim & all of Jeff Browns books again
Hanging out with Michelle & other cool VAbeachers
Bonfire for college kids & Mafia madness around the fire
Driving home in record time with Dad only to move right into my next adventure: SOUTH COUNTY YOUTH RALLY, which included:

Lots of loud singing in the car
Waiting for Kyle to stop getting lost
Reuniting with my favorite camp people ever
Massive amounts of singing worship songs
Hair dying extravaganza
Bowling & the purchasing of socks for the bare footed
Dance parties
Feasting on tacos & playing Bible trivia games
Sneaking around the boys host house & saran wrapping their cars
Being obnoxious in Burger King & CVS
Molly spilling milkshake in her crotch area
Spending quality time with quality people in Gods presence

That was followed by an awesome Monday:
The buying of hideous clothes at Salvation Army with Steph& Cassidy
Walmart hunting and bandanas of every color
Dollar store romping
Watching clips of Fresh Prince of BelAir & GI Joe parodies
JUMP ON IT!
AIr hockey with Robert
The teaching and slayings of all in Egyptian RatScrew
Slaving in the kitchen to feed the boys
More obsessions with GUITAR HERO

Not to mention there are pictures plastered on my page of some of the previous events. I've had a wonderful couple of weeks and guess what!?! The next FOUR WEEKS of my life are going to be amazing. I'm leaving on Saturday morning for Councelor Orientation at Tidal River Christian Camp and then begins Jr. week one of the 2006 camping season. There may be updates in between the weeks as we get Saturday's off but other than that, you know where I'll be. THe woods of Connecticut with a bunch of crazy kids and having the time of my life.

If anybody knows of a job where I can be a camp councelor all year round, let me know so I can JUMP ON IT. (kimosabi, jump on it, jump on it)

=thankyouLord=

Courage doesn't always roar, sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying "I will try again tomorrow". THAT is my courage.
